After arriving at the connected Welcome Centre, there are sufficient parking spaces available in the planned multi-storey car park north of the Kuhnle shipyard to safely park your vehicles on site.
To the north of the Kuhnle shipyard is the Marinastraße / Am Hafendorf construction area. A multi-storey car park will be built between the Kuhnle shipyard and the holiday flats to be built.
The multi-storey car park will also serve as noise protection between the Kuhnle shipyard and the holiday properties.
The multi-storey car park has four levels, each with 50 parking spaces, making a total of 200 parking spaces.
The ground floor (level 0) has a clear height of 4.92m. Due to this height, the ground floor can be used as boat storage in winter, which makes the car park much more economical. The 50 parking spaces on the ground floor and the 50 parking spaces on level three will be used during the season for guests of the boat charter business and the hotel, and additional e-mobility charging points will also be installed here. The 50 parking spaces on levels one and two will be allocated to the planned flats.
The clear storey height of levels one and two will be at least 2.10 metres, and the parking spaces will be 2.5 x 5.00 metres. The top level of the car park (level 3) is at a height of approximately 11 metres. The access and exit to levels 1 to 3 will be regulated by a traffic light system. Access to the multi-storey car park will be from the street Am Hafendorf.
The municipality of Rechlin insists that the multi-storey car park must be built first before any other investments. Necessary and planned investments will unfortunately be delayed as a result. In addition, preliminary and interim financing for the multi-storey car park will be necessary, which will be repaid proportionally by the parking spaces to be sold on levels 1 and 2. In addition to the costs of the multi-storey car park, there are also the costs of demolishing and clearing the existing buildings and halls.
