The biggest bike rental in the south east of the Müritz region is located in the centre of the Hafendorf Müritz - Rechlin. We have arround 140 modern bikes in our rental, as well as go-carts, e-bikes, tandems for adults and kids.
We offer our bikes in several sizes and models. The price also includes a helmet, a bike lock, a tire pump and a basket.
We also have trailer for kids, dogs and infant seat for you.

Explore the Müritz by bike
You can drive along many lakes and forests with your bike. You can get more informations about the different tours here at the station. The Müritz national park is only a few kilometers away from the harbour village and easy to reach by bike.
Recommendable is the combination between bike and boat. For all those, who are not staying on a houseboat can go by boat from Hafendorf Müritz with the “Weiße Flotte” to Waren and make a tour through the harbour in Waren and drive back by bike through the national park. In that case you can explore the national park on the water and land.

Bicycle tours along the Müritz
There are many beautiful bicycle paths to explore around the Müritz and the harbor village is the perfect start, because it is next to the national park bus station and also the excursion boat "Weiße Flotte" stops here. So you can organize varied tours through the nature of the Mecklenburg Lake district.
Bicycle tour via Buchholz:
Explore the southern part of the Müritz and the nature. Start is at the harbor village and then along the shipyard in Rechlin to Vipperow. From here you can take bicycle paths through smaller villages like Lärz or Buchholz. In Buchholz it is worth to take a break at the Marina and have a cool drink at the water.

Bicycle tour to Waren:
From the harbor village it is only a few kilometers to the Müritz national park. In the national park you can find about 230 kilometer bicycle and hiking paths for free choice. The paths are well-signposted but sometimes they are very sandy and not easy to pass. Even very famous bicycle paths are crossing the national park for example the Havel path or the path between Berlin and Copenhagen. You have many varied opportunities to choose a route. To Waren it takes 26 kilometers and for all those who don’t want to take this route a second time can go back to the harbor village by bus or boat.
